A tre anni di distanza dal primo lavoro dal titolo 1629, i canadesi Fall City Fall tornano con un nuovo ed incazzatissimo album, Victus, rilasciato lo scorso 22 Gennaio via Victory Records. Il sound del combo nordamericano in questo 11 pezzi è inequivocabilmente aspro e rabbioso, spingendo la band a prediligere linee vocali furiose, potenti riffing e brani dal time running piuttosto breve.
Nonostante risulti leggermente fuori luogo, la dolce-amara Taken (decimo brano della tracklist) segna un unico punto a favore di questo tanto granitico quanto tecnico album, sfortunatamente troppo monotono. Amanti dell'extreme metal/hardcore moderno apprezzeranno sicuramente.

Three years has passed since the release of their debut 1629, now the canadian Fall City Fall has back with a brand new and still fuckin' angry album called Victus. Released on January 22nd via Victory Record it contains almost 11 furious songs with harsh vocals and really powerful riffings that will kick your ass for all the album's time running.
Besides the power and the hardcore stuff, this album would be a bit boring, fortunatly Taken (10th tracklist's song) rise up the level of this 2nd full lenght puttin' some melodic riffs alongside strong vocal lines. If you love modern extreme/hardcore check out this album, you could love it!
