Debutto col botto per gli heavy thrasher Ashes of Ares, band capitanata dagli ex-Iced Earth Matt Barlow (voce) e Freddie Vidales (chitarra), che lo scorso 6Settembre rilascia un self-titled album granitico e degno di chi certamente dilettante non è. Nei dieci brani di cui è composto, il power-trio vi guiderà in un piccolo viaggio in musica passando elegantemente da brani aggressivi e compatti come l'energica Move the Chains ad altri più poetici (This is My Hell), contando su assoli magistrali ed linee vocali superbe.

This is what we could expect from a band composed by metal veteran like Matt Barlow, Freddie Vidales (both ex-Iced Earth) and Van WIlliams (ex-Nevermore): a fucking strong, solid and catchy thrash heavy metal album with rocky parts and melodic acoustic too.
Highly anticipated and well promoted, this self-titled album for the new project Ashes of Ares was released on September 6 via Nuclear Blast Records. This 10-songs full lenght is a real bomb since the opening The Messenger, extremely suggested for Iced Earth / Nevermore lovers.
