A far compagnia al noto tastierista e compositore Tuomas ci saranno la cantante Johanna Kurkela, il noto cantante Tony Kakko (Sonata Arctica), Johanna Iivanainen e Alan Reid, faranno parte dell'organico dei musicisti che parteciperanno all'album anche la London Orchestra e il coro The Metro Voices di Londra, già noto ai Nightwish per partecipazioni dai tempi di Once (2004).

Tuomas Holopainen: Nightwish's founder, song composer and keyboard player Tuomas Holopainen will be releasing his first solo album, The Life And Times Of Scrooge, this spring via Nuclear Blast. Recorded from August to October 2013 at Angel Studios in London plus various locations around Scotland and Finland, The Life And Times Of Scrooge will include elements of the classical & folk genres in the vein of Vaughan Williams, Michael Nyman, James Newton Howard, and Enya. The album will feature artwork by Don Rosa.
The album will feature four lead vocalists: Finnish singer Johanna Kurkela, Tony Kakko of SONATA ARCTICA, Johanna Iivanainen, and Alan Reid. The album will also features as musical guests: The London Orchestra and the Metro Voices Choir from London.
