Metallica: stando a quanto riportato dal noto sito Metal Hammer, Kirk Hammett avrebbe dichiarato che il materiale del follow-up album di Death Magnetic dei Metallica sarebbe pronto al 25%. "Abbiamo un sacco di buone canzoni - loro sempre - cambiano a questo punto. Nulla è inciso nella pietra. Noi abbiamo ancora molto materiale da vagliare" così ha commentato il chitarrista a Billboard. Nessuna data di completamento è stata fissata per il nuovo album, tuttavia il batterista Lars Ulrich ha recentemente dichiarato che loro potrebbero rilasciare in anteprima nuovo materiale durante i loro spettacoli estivi, incluso il loro show al Reading and Leeds Festival ad Agosto.

Metallica: according to MetalHammer.teamrock.com, Metallica are at 25% through writing the follow-up album to Death Magnetic (2008), guitarist Kirk Hammett has confirmed. He also told Billboard "We have a lot of good songs - they're ever - changing at this point. Nothing is etched in stone. We still have a lot of material we have to sift through". No completion date has been set yet for the album, but drummer Lars Ulrich recently said that day could preview new material at their summer shows including their performance at the Reading and Leeds festival in August.
