Peter Criss: il batterista originale dei Kiss, Peter Criss, riceverà il premio come Man of Courage dalla The Beauty Foundation for Cancer Care, un'organizzazione no-profit che si occupa di alleviare oneri fisici, finanziari ed emotivi di pazienti e famigliari che affrontano il male del cancro. Il nuovo onore si chiamerà The Peter Criss Man of Courage Award, dopo quest'anno.
Criss è attualmente impegnato con la stesura di un nuovo rock album che tratterà proprio questo argomento.

Peter Criss: Original KISS drummer Peter Criss will receive the first "Man Of Courage" award from The Beauty Foundation For Cancer Care, a non-profit organization that serves to alleviate the physical, financial and emotional burdens patients and their families face while coping with cancer. The new honor will be named "The Peter Criss Man Of Courage Award" after this year. 

Criss, who is currently working on a new rock album, told Reuters his bout with cancer had affected his songwriting.
