(ENG) HERO OF TODAY: PARIS

AFTER LISTENING TO THE BRAND NEW UPCOMING DEBUT FROM PARIS, HERE I'M HAVING A LITTLE SPEACH WITH THE BAND TO KNOW SOMETHING MORE ABOUT ONLY ONE LIFE!

1. Hi guys and welcome on The Bible of Metal pages!
Hey thank you for having us here, Alex, we appreciate it.

2. For "Only One Life" you have had the chance to work with one of our better known producer, I mean Alessandro Del Vecchio. How was this kind of experience?
It was a great experience. Working with Alessandro is the best thing that could happen for our project, but it was a challenge too. I mean, it was our first real experience in a studio and it could have gone wrong but Alessandro managed to get the best out of us. He's a very talented and hard working producer, but most of all he's a good man.

3. Could you tell us more about Dancing on the Edge?
Sure, the funny thing about Dancing on the Edge is that it wasn't supposed to be on the album at first. We wrote the song about 20 years ago and we accidentally rediscovered it a few weeks only before starting the recording sessions in Italy. When we listened to it we said to ourselves, it has to be on the album! Luckily we didn't have to change much of it, even Sebastien's solo is note for note like the original!

4. I think that the intro riff for The Clock was pretty catchy, could you tell us more about that song?
Oh thanks, actually we had a big discussion in the studio about it with Alessandro… To make a long story short, the riff is catchy because it spreads across two musical modes (major and minor), which makes it a bit tricky for the chords behind. But I couldn't give up on that riff, so we had to find a solution with a different bass line and the result goes beyond my expectations. Alessandro called it a "mi-jor" songwriting (LOL)… we actually like to enrich the music with those kind of tricks.

5. What are your next projects?
Right now we're fully committed to the release of "Only One Life", simply because so much depends on the success of it, like whether we'll record a second album or not. We'd have enough new songs already and they're huge! Hopefully we'll get the label working together with us on a new project. Our plan is to record around the end of the year… I guess to hardest part is to get Alessandro Del Vecchio available, he's getting overbooked you know!! LOL

6. Will we see you on stage here one day?
That's a good question… we'd love to but I don't know yet. For sure if we make a follow-up album next year, then we'd probably take part in a few festivals. First we need more material and a bigger notoriety, but with the amazing musicians that play on the album (Anna Portalupi, Alessandro Mori, Alessandro Del Vecchio) we could make something real big on stage.

7. Would you like to live a message to our readers?
We definitely want to thank every single one of you guys for your interest in PARIS. Let us know what you think about the album, your feedback is very important for us.

8. Thanks a lot for the time you gave me, wish you the best!
It was a pleasure, grazie.
