A distanza di appena due anni dalla pubblicazione del pompatissimo, carichissimo ed ispiratissimo Time Elevation, i Grand Design tornano a far sentire le proprie note questa volta con un sound decisamente più maturo e roccioso, anche se sfortunatamente meno ricco di mordente rispetto al debut album.
E' così che nel 2011, la swedish melodic hard rock /AOR band guidata dal vocalist Pelle e sempre sotto l'ala protettrice di AOR Heaven, rilascia il nuovissimo Idolizer, album contenente ben 10 brani che - oltre alla vecchia impronta DL - porta su di se più evidenti i segni degli Scorpions di fine anni settanta, unitamente ad un tocco bonjoviano anni ottanta, sfornando un lavoretto più ragionato e meno di pancia.
Brani come l'accattivante opener (Get On with the Action) o la trascinante Oughtogrough faranno la gioia di chi ha apprezzato il precedente Time Elevation, così come la struggente Your Love's A Runaway e la prorompente Let Rawk the Nite!
