Ariën Van Weesenbeek è un batterista olandese della scena metal, noto prevalentemente per il proprio attuale ruolo di drummer con gli Epica, coi quali milita dal 2007 e coi quali ha fino ad oggi rilasciato due album: Design Your Universe (2009) e Requiem for the Indifferent (2012).
Oltre ad essere all'attivo con gli Epica, Arien è all'attivo anche con gli HDK con cui ha rilasciato System Overload nel 2009 e con i Mayan (assieme a Mark Jansen) con cui ha pubblicato Quarterpast (2011).
In passato ha collaborato con svariate band quali i Pandemonium e God Dethroned, coi quali ha rilasciato ben tre album: Into the Lungs of Hell (2003), The Lair of the White Worm (2004) e The Toxic Touch (2006).
