A LITTLE TALK WITH CHRISTIAN HEDGREN, BACK WITH A GREAT NEW MELODIC HARD ROCK ALBUM WHICH IS SCHEDULED FOR THE RELEASE ON APRIL 25th.

Hi Christian and welcome back on The Bible of Metal, this time with your brand new project Sunstrike, after half a year since your last full lenght with The Theander Expression. Sounds like this is a really full period for you, isn't it?
Hi, thanks it's good to be back. Haha yeah the schedule is pretty packed but I like having lots of things to do.

How was born the project Sunstrike? Why have you chosen Sunstrike as your new monicker? 
In 2012 I got a call from Joachim and Johan (astral doors) and they asked if I wanted to record vocals on their new heavy metal album. We met up in the studio but just after a couple of hrs we felt that we wanted to do something else together and all of us love the 80:s so we decided to write and record a new album inspired by the 80:s. The name.. I've tried to come up with a remarkable story about how we became SunStrike...well I failed haha we just thought it sounded good and no other band were named SunStrike.

Is there a song from Rock Your World that you liked most that the others? 
I think the album turned out great. Personally I wanna push for "Rolling the dice" "Right track" and "Never let you go"

Could you tell us more about the opening song of the album? 
"Power of the dreams" right? Well the song is about never letting your dreams go and if you fight for it dreams will come true.

Will you make a video for any song on Rock Your World? 
Hopefully we will be able to shoot a video in a near future.

What're your next project? 
My next project is to write and record a new album with "Theander" and Joachim and Johan are currently working on a new "Astral doors" album.
